General issues with the software or website?

Recsite is constantly being improved and updated - this means you may be looking at an older version of our software on your browser which can cause issues. The easiest way to fix this is by clearing your browser cache and cookies, allowing you to view the latest version of Recsite.

Browser compatibility issues?

It is recommended that you use Google Chrome for administration as this is the browser with the highest compatibility with our software. Of course most other browsers should work fine, but older and outdated browsers may have some issues due to lack of new features.

What is the difference between candidates and applicants?

On Recsite, every job applicant also creates a candidate registration which gives them access to a candidate portal. Not all candidates complete a job application but may still be keen to work with you. Candidates will be visible in the candidates database but not shortlisted under any job. How do I post a job to an external site?

What is the best way to contact you for support issues?

How do I disable email notifications for candidates?

How do I delete a candidate’s details on the system?

As an admin, click on the candidates sections and at the bottom there will be a button called delete. Just check the box next to the candidate(s) and then click delete to remove them.

As a candidate, how do I delete my account and erase my data?

You can do this by clicking the delete my account button at the bottom of your candidate profile.

I have created an account, what is my username?

Your username is displayed to you in the confirmation email we send to you once you have created your account.

What do I do if I have forgotten my username or password?

You are able to request a new username or password from the log in screen by clicking on the respective links just above the log in button.
